[A human Shadow Warlock, sitting at level three, is looking up at the buildings of Mac Anu. He's still considered a newb as he finds the starting place in the server absolutely awesome looking.

He's wearing green and white striped pants with a white shirt that stops above his knees, and a light blue robe that stopped just above his shoes and mostly buttoned up. Under his hat are black bangs that shadow his eyes and dark red Earth Wave hexagon symbols on one side of his face.]

I-I wonder where I should start today...

[Pardon the newbie as Vivi wanders around Mac Anu for a bit with his grimoire to ask for information before going out in the field. Sadly, he's too shy to ask if anyone would need a Shadow Warlock in their party... as much as he'd love to tag along with a party but newbs are frowned upon.]

[Vivi starts walking towards the building where the gates are held, glancing back a bit to make sure Susan is following him. H-he found someone who'd help him out on this server..! ...Though he's still wary about the power gamers that seem to be running rampant.]

(Ivanova followed, checking through her equipment one last time. For a non-healer soloing, it was best to keep stocked up on items.)

[His newbish status will be made apparent soon enough in the Field due to his lack of items he has in stock... and they were too pricey in the shops to properly stock up to begin with.

You should probably get behind me since I have higher defense. The river is this way.

[He scuttles behind Susan, peeking out... So far so good?]

(Ivanova nods, before looking out over the feel. She'd forgotten how far away mods would aggro to get a low level. Sure enough, something was practically charging towards them.)

Get ready! (She said, firing her gun.)

[Vivi fumbles with the Magic Amber grimoire and opens it, looking at the spells that are available before he picks one.]

Zen Rom!

[He casts a Tornado wind spell at the creature that's charging towards him and Susan...but only Level 3... Oh crap!]

(Ivanova fires a barrage from her steam gun, causing the monster to charge her instead. It's nearly on top of her when it goes down.)

Not too touch, huh? (She's mid-40s caracter, no power-gaming, but half-way decent.)

(She started walking again, in the direction, finally showing him a small nook overlooking the river.)

See? You can see them in the plane, and you can actually aggro from here without them reaching you.

[He follows Susan, still staying behind her just in case another monster showed up and he looks over towards the nook.]

O-Oh, I get it... I never knew that..!

Usually that's disallowed, but since there technically is a path to get up here, it works in this area. Most of the mods are too dumb to take it.

[Once again showing his fail prowess at this game, Vivi took the upgraded grimoire but didn't equip it! So he resorts to casting the same wind element spell from earlier despite it's weak.]

Equip. (Ivanova reminded him, not worried, as the monster came charging and stopped at the river's edge, scowling and not coming close. She aimed her steamgun almost casually.)

[Vivi takes a moment to equip the new grimoire from the last loot grab ... not many spells are offered since his class is not leveled too high but he tries one.]

(Ivanova fires, she's only 46th level, but for monsters of Vivi's level, her gun does more than enough to take it down.)
